Language Groups
Let's BUILD the skills together!
We offer weekly small groups aimed to enhance language and speech skills and improve participation and attention during circle time activities. These groups are designed for children to learn the language building blocks for speech, prepare your child for a preschool or daycare setting, or build upon their current skills to enhance their participation and interactions at school. In addition, parents will leave feeling better prepared to build their child's language at home.
Sign, Say & Play Class
6 -18 months
A series of six, theme-based classes generally offered over a 6-week period, these 45-minute sessions are designed for parents and babies to attend together. Each week families learn useful signs through fun songs, books, and activities. In addition, parents learn simple ways to support their baby’s intellectual development—tips drawn from Drs. Acredolo and Goodwyn’s second parenting book, Baby Minds: Brain Building Games Your Baby Will Love.

Skyscrapers
3-5 years

A 6-week thematic language group run by a certified speech-language pathologist! In addition to increasing language and vocabulary, groups are designed to build pretend play, communicate with peers, engage in early cooperative play, speak up and be assertive, ask appropriate questions, stay on task and maintain attention, develop social skills, and transition between tasks. This group will more closely mimic a preschool circle time structure and incorporate more complex themes.

If your child receives speech and language therapy or special education services, his/her language, speech, and special education goals will be targeted to generalize learned skills.
Wee Builders
Under 24 months
A 6-week thematic language group run by a certified speech-language pathologist! Groups are designed to build pre & early language skills, joint attention, eye contact, functional play, requesting, imitation & engagement in
group experiences.
Caregivers will walk away with weekly engagement, language-building activities, and goals to work on at home.
Lil' Builders
24-36 months

A 6-week thematic language group run by a certified speech-language pathologist! Groups are designed to build early language skills, turn-taking, joint attention, following directions, answering questions, requesting, greeting, learning readiness & preparing for preschool/daycare. All language levels are encouraged!
If your child receives speech and language therapy or special education services, his/her language, speech, and special education goals will be targeted to generalize learned skills.
Elementary-Aged Children
Lunch Bunch is for elementary-aged children looking for opportunities to socialize and/or have difficulty with feeding. Each session has a theme and food we will cook. Sessions are limited in size, so register today!
