THERAPY
OUR SERVICESÂ
Language Therapy

Language therapy is designed to improve children's receptive, expressive, and pragmatic language skills. The therapist will interact with a child by playing and talking, using pictures, books, objects, toys, or ongoing events to stimulate speech and language development. Depending on your child's needs, an augmentative communication device may be recommended.
Speech Therapy
Â
Speech therapy services are designed for children experiencing delays in articulation and/or phonology. The therapist will work to shape and elicit new ways of producing sounds through playing, talking, and table work. Homework is typically provided each session as progress, development, and generalization for articulation and phonology requires outside practice.Â
Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy
Our orofacial myology exercises are aimed at improving the strength, positioning and coordination of the muscles in the mouth and throat, leading to better dental and speech outcomes. Symptoms targeted include tongue thrust, noxious oral habits such as thumb sucking, snoring, mouth breathing, drooling, lips, jaw and tongue strength, feeding, and articulation. Exercises optimize chewing, speaking, swallowing and breathing.
Our qualified specialists use the latest techniques and technologies to provide personalized treatment plans, tailored to the individual needs of each client. We work with children and adults alike, helping them achieve optimal orofacial health and function.
Occupational Therapy
Our occupational therapy services are designed to help individuals of all ages work on a range of skills, including sensory processing, emotional regulation, fine motor skills, handwriting, gross motor skills, self-help skills, social and play skills, sensory-related feeding difficulties, visual perceptual skills, and cognitive development. Our experienced therapists work closely with each client to create a personalized treatment plan that focuses on their specific needs.
Breast, Bottle & Oral Motor Feeding
Feeding therapy addresses problems with chewing and swallowing, coughing, or gagging. It may also involve refusing foods or transitioning to solids from being fed via a g-tube. Delays can begin at birth with breast and bottle feeding, trouble transitioning to a bottle, poor oral motor control with foods or drinks, or picky eating and sensory aversions. Over time, they may develop restrictive diets and refusal of foods.
